Description: TEA Party protest in Hot Springs, AR. This is a part of a nationwide simultaneous protest in over 400 cities and towns all over the country. This is NOT a partisan event. Representatives from both major parties have been cavalier in ignoring their constituents on spending.
REPORT: 4/15/09 Great rally!! Couldn’t count all the folks milling about there at 12:00, but by 1:00 after about a third had left we managed to count 182 folks still there. Estimate there was around 300 there right after noon, many spending their lunch hour to send a message to their representatives. There were 435 who signed contact cards during the three hour event!
This is just the start. There will be more later. Who knows, maybe it will lead to a “TEA PARTY” as a third political party! There was another rally about a half mile from the court house and they reportedly had another 150 or more participants. That is pretty good for a town the size of Hot Springs, AR. Lots of excitement. Wish you had been there too.

People, we need to prepare before it’s too late! Everyone I know seems way too casual about this. There are only one and a half weeks until the tax day Tea Parties. The time to prepare is now before time slips away the way it usually does. You can make your hand-drawn signs the morning of the protest, but if you intend to wear a Tea Party shirt, jacket, pin or hat, you’d better order now to get them in time. Plain shirts won’t cut it for the cameras. To the exent the MSM covers the Tea Parties, their lenses simply HAVE to relay our message. Our message must be everywhere. You can also make your own professional looking banners and posters and yard signs at cafepress.com, but that also takes a week or more for manufacture and delivery–so get moving TODAY!…
MORE Hot Springs Arkansas Tea Party representation!!!! Also at 12:00 noon on April 15th we will peacefully assemble on the lawn of the Arlington Park (just off Central Avenue) in downtown Hot Springs. Bring your SIGNS, FLAGS, GOOD ATTITUDE, and ALL of your FRIENDS!!!!!

My husband and I, and as many of our friends as we can encourage to come, will be on the courthouse lawn at high noon on Wednesday.
This CHRISTIAN nation needs to take it back. As is in the constitution of many of the original colonies, I believe you need to confess Christianity, BEFORE you can run for office – my opinion. Our country is headed for doom, when we are led by anything less.
Wow! I have never before been excited about the coming of “Tax Day”. There are two tea parties in Hot Springs on Wednesday and people I talk to are indicating they are excited about joining together on Wednesday to send a message.
Janet is right. We need to take the nation back, we can take the nation back, and for the sake of our kids and grandkids we must take this nation back! To do anything less is to allow this nation to sink into the hopelessness of socialism. Go out and tell your neighbors, make your signs and be there at high noon on Wednesday!

UNFORTUNATELY,,,,, I am perlexed and ticked that some how NOON ON A WORK DAY got picked as a meet up time instead of 3 to 5,,, 4 to 6 or maybe 6:00am. Sounds like plain ole business as usual thinking.

There are tea parties at all hours from 12:00 on on April 15th across the country. Unfortunately there is no hour that will satisfy everyone, but if we want to be seen and we want to get news coverage at least some of those are going to have to be during daylight and working hours. I did not pick the hour, but if I had, no matter what hour I picked would eliminate someone. Little Rock is having one from 4:00 – 6:00, Benton from 3:00-6:00, and Ft Smith from 4:00-7:00.
